When you use Fixrn to find an emergency plumber or HVAC technician, we collect information you provide directly — such as your name, phone number, email address, service needed, and general location — along with technical information like your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit.
2. Call Tracking & Recording
Fixrn uses call-tracking phone numbers to route requests to local service providers and to measure which pages and campaigns generate genuine service requests. Calls placed through a Fixrn tracking number may be recorded and/or transcribed for quality assurance, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention. Where required by law, we provide notice that a call may be recorded before the recording begins.
4. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Connect you with an appropriate local service provider
- Operate, maintain, and improve the site
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud or abuse

5. Our No-Sale Policy

Depending on your request, we may share limited information with: the local plumbing or HVAC provider (or provider network) equipped to handle your request; call-tracking and analytics vendors who help us route and measure calls; and advertising partners such as Google AdSense, subject to their own privacy policies. We require service providers we work with to handle your information responsibly and only for the purpose of fulfilling your request.
