Fixrn is a directory and call-connection service. We are not a plumbing or HVAC company, we do not dispatch technicians ourselves, and we are not a substitute for 911. 2. How Fixrn Makes Money
Fixrn is supported primarily through pay-per-call relationships: when you call a number listed on this site, we may receive compensation from the service provider or from a call-routing network for connecting that call. Fixrn also displays advertising (including Google AdSense) on some pages, and may earn a commission on select affiliate links. This is standard for a free-to-use local service directory, and it doesn't change what you pay a provider directly for their work.
3. No Cost to You
Using Fixrn to find and call a local provider costs you nothing. Any compensation we receive comes from the provider or network side of the call, never as a markup added to your bill. What you pay is worked out directly between you and the technician who takes your call.
4. Editorial Independence
Compensation arrangements do not dictate the informational content on this site — guides, FAQs, and local coverage pages are written to be genuinely useful regardless of which provider ends up taking a given call. We do not fabricate reviews, credentials, or testimonials.
5. Placement Isn't an Endorsement
A provider's presence in our network reflects that they've entered a business relationship with Fixrn or one of our call-routing partners — it is not an independent certification of quality, and it's not a guarantee of licensing, insurance, or workmanship. Always confirm current licensing and get a clear price before any work begins.
6. Call Recording
Calls placed through a Fixrn tracking number may be recorded and/or monitored for quality assurance and fraud prevention, consistent with our Privacy Policy. Where required by law, notice is provided before a recording begins.
